The end of the school year is approaching, and I need to dig deep to keep my students motivated sometimes. I had a little idea that would make them laugh, and hopefully get them to the end of the year in good spirits.
I've had these thrifted shoes for a while now, and I wasn't sure what to do with them. They were half price. I paid 2 whole dollars for them. If my idea didn't work out, I wouldn't be terribly upset.
I knew I wanted to paint them, I just wasn't sure how.
THEN THIS HAPPENED!!!!
My idea sparked like lightning, and I could write not-so-subliminal messages to keep my students focused!
Ureeka!! (Is that how you spell it?)
Art Teaching at it's finest!
Now, as I walk around the room, they are reminded to stay on task. This is a hard thing to do at the end of the year, even for high school students.
I chalk it up to the shoes....get it?
Let me know what you think.
See you next time!
